SSgt Clay was a 2004 graduate of Elida High School fell 825 feet 25th June 2011 when his parachute failed to deploy during a nighttime military exercise at Fort Bragg, NC. SSgt Clay was a vehicle recovery supervisor with Company G, 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team of the 82nd Airborne Division. SSgt Clay basic training was at Fort Jackson,S.C. in 2005 he joined Company G. SSgt Clay was deployed to Irag in 2006 and 2008. SSgt Clay was a loved man at Fort Bragg.
