The 2022 Ohio American Legion Legacy Run made a stop at the Veterans Freedom Flag Monument on Sunday afternoon to lay a wreath in remembrance of all fallen Veterans. The 5K Run held on 6/4/2022 to benefit Operation Half Pint was a great success. Approximately 250 participants ran around the exterior of the tank plant, including the test track, and finished at the Veterans Freedom Flag Monument. Afterwards everyone enjoyed a tailgate party at the monument.

The renovation of the building behind the Veterans Freedom Flag Monument is continuing. Members from Laborers Locals 329 and 386 generously volunteered their time to help with clean-up of the area and hanging bricks. Pictured (L-R) are Earl Master, Charles Colston and Taft Mangas.
