On Friday, 9/8/2023, the annual United Way of Greater Lima Day of Caring Campaign took place across Allen County. They recruited volunteers from different companies and organizations, as well as residents, to come together to help out the community. The Veterans Freedom Flag Monument was fortunate to be provided with a group from Mercy Health St Ritas Medical Center that went above and beyond to clean and organize the inside of the museum building, and also clean up the monument grounds. They are our Heros and we thank them!
